  • Day 10, Monday, Bellinzona

     

    Selfie in the train from Interlaken Ost to Lauterbrunnen, first of a three stage journey to the top of Jungfraujoch.
    My new iPhone 8, by Apple, set up for the selfie.

    Second stage rack railway from Lauterbrunnen.

    Third stage, mostly in a tunnel. Trains must have a 4G cell, reception was excellent. I moved many photos during the train journey, made a couple of VOIP calls home.

    Return train trip was from Kleine Scheidegge via Grindelwald back to Interlaken Ost.

    Susten Pass on the way to Bellinzona later in the afternoon was sensational.

  • Day 09, Sunday, Interlaken

    It rained all day. Hotel said it was due to improve, should be better to go up Jungfraujoch on Monday. We sat around the hotel doing not very much.
